During most of the year, consumer fireworks in Dunwoody can't be used after 9 p.m. or before 10 a.m., but there are important exceptions.
 
Fireworks can be used between 10 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. during the following holidays:
  • Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day)
  • the last Saturday and Sunday in May (Memorial Day holidays)
  • July 3, July 4 (Independence Day)
  • the first Monday in September (Labor Day)
  • Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve) of each year.
In addition, on Jan. 1 of each year, fireworks are allowed between midnight and 1 a.m.
