The City of Dunwoody is divided into three Patrol Zones
Police Zone 20
Zone 20 is comprised of mostly residential neighborhoods along Mount Vernon Road from Sandy Springs to Gwinnett County. The Dunwoody Village shopping center and the Williamsburg at Dunwoody Shopping Center are two significant retail shopping areas that fall within Zone 20.
Police Zone 30
Zone 30 is the busiest and most densely populated Zone in the city. Zone 30 encompasses Perimeter Mall and several miles of Interstate 285. Zone 30 includes all businesses in the part of the Perimeter Center Improvement Districts (PCIDs) in Dunwoody, the Georgetown Shopping Center and many large apartment communities.
Police Zone 40
Zone 40 includes the southeast portion of Dunwoody including the portion of Dunwoody along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Zone 40 includes one of the largest suburban neighborhoods in Dunwoody, Dunwoody North as well as several large apartment communities. Major corridors running through Zone 40 include North Peachtree Road, Peeler Road, and Winters Chapel Road.
