Artists Jennifer Freeman and Julie Mazzoni were commissioned to create a ceramic mural for the Womack Road retaining wall. The wall was built as part of the intersection improvement project at Womack and Chamblee Dunwoody Road.  Watch the unveiling video of the completed mosaic captured on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

August 23 introduction - The Landscape of Dunwoody Mosaic

The mural is about 36 feet long and varies in height from 3½ feet on the left side to 5 feet on the right side. The materials include stained glass, fused glass, and porcelain tile.

This busy intersection can be considered a gateway into Dunwoody Village and is adjacent to the Dunwoody Cultural Arts Center, which houses the Stage Door Theatre, Spruill Center for the Arts, and the Dunwoody Library.
