Dunwoody, Georgia, the growing suburb located just north of Atlanta, is finding innovative new ways to integrate business and leisure, announcing a variety of new developments that will be opening to meet the influx of business in the community. With updated office space, entertainment options and greenspace in several mixed-use developments, Dunwoody is continuing to transform into a thriving metropolitan area as it launches its Edge City 2.0 Redevelopment Plan that will create a vision for the future of Perimeter Center.
A variety of new developments will contribute to Dunwoody’s continued economic growth including Carvana opening a campus in Perimeter Center, the addition of a new Publix at Perimeter Marketplace, and progress being made on two mixed-use developments – High Street Atlanta and Ashford Lane.
“We’ve seen an increase in economic growth in Dunwoody, and we’re thrilled to promote projects that will encourage more of it,” said Dunwoody Economic Development Director Michael Starling. “As the community grows, we recognize the need for gathering spaces, modern offices and entertainment venues, and we’re proud that we can provide that.”
Located just north of Atlanta, Dunwoody, Georgia is a premier hub for business, shopping, dining and genuine hospitality. With easy access to mass transit and major highways, the city provides accessibility to key Georgia tourist attractions, events, and festivals while still delivering the charm of a small community. The city’s business-friendly atmosphere, diverse recreation options, lower-overall cost of living and proximity to mass transit has established Dunwoody as an up-and-coming center of employment, transportation, educated workforce and population density.
