Souper Bowl of Caring by Jack & Jill, Inc.

From now through January 12, 2024, nonperishable food collected during the Souper Bowl of Caring will be donated to Malachi’s Storehouse, the Community Assistance Center, and Solidarity Sandy Springs. Collection bins are available in the following locations:

Plantings at the Dunwoody Nature Center
The Nature Center will host volunteers throughout the day to assist with trail maintenance, plantings, park beautification and more.

Blood Drive with LifeSouth
Report to: 4770 N. Peachtree Rd.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Dunwoody Atlanta Chapter will partner with LifeSouth on a blood drive to support the community and sickle cell patients. On January 15, the Blood Mobille will be open from 9 a.m. to noon at Brook Run Park. Blood donations are also encouraged at the LifeSouth Dunwoody Center (4891 Ashford Dunwoody Rd) during the month of January.

Registration  is FULL - Tree Planting with Trees Atlanta
Please meet at Brook Run Park near the soccer field. The closest address is 4664 N. Peachtree Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338. Parking is available in front of the soccer field and throughout the park.
Project Details: Help us plant 125 trees in Brook Run Park to help sustain our urban forest! Project time of 9am-12pm.

Registration is FULL - Daffodil Planting with The Daffodil Project
Report to: Brook Run Park Arboretum Pavilion. Closest park entrance and parking is off Peeler Rd. (2341 Peeler Rd.) Seeking 120 volunteers. 
Project Details: Help us plant 5,000 daffodil bulbs in Brook Run Park. This is a great all ages option. Project time of 9am-12pm.

Registration is FULL - Cleanup at Spruill Center for the Arts
Report to: 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd.
Project Details: We will be sprucing up the downstairs hallway with white paint to give the hallway gallery a fresh start for 2024! We will also be painting ceiling tiles for the education center's upstairs hallway as a community art project. Come join the Spruill team as we spruce up the hallways of our education center! Project time of 10am-3pm. Seeking 60 volunteers.

Registration is FULL- Cleanup at Brook Run Community Garden
Report to: Brook Run Community Garden, 4770 N. Peachtree Rd, near the disc golf entrance.
Project Details: Join us at the Dunwoody Community Garden and Orchard in Brook Run Park. We'll be performing clean-up and maintenance on the garden in preparation for the growing season ahead. No gardening experience needed! Please bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes. Tools, materials, and refreshments will be provided. Project time of 9am-12pm. Seeking 60 volunteers.
