Dunwoody Trail Master Plan Public Meeting

The Dunwoody community is invited to review a draft of the Dunwoody Trail Master Plan map during a public meeting on February 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Dunwoody City Hall. In partnership with the City of Dunwoody, the PATH Foundation will present the plan and discuss trail types, desired destinations, and benefits of trails.

“Our team has heard important feedback from residents and city leaders. We’ve also spent a lot of time in Dunwoody exploring the current network and looking for new opportunities for connections,” said Greta deMayo, Executive Director of the PATH Foundation. “We’re excited to present a draft map as we work to create a Master Plan focused on safe, inviting, and desired trails.”

Prior to creating the draft map, the PATH Foundation gathered community input on trails during a public open house on December 7 and at Light Up Dunwoody on November 20. In addition, 638 people responded to an online survey in December.

“One size or type doesn’t fit all when you’re looking at trails. The draft map includes different trail types for different parts of the community,” said Dunwoody Community Development Director Richard McLeod. “Our goal is to connect Dunwoody residents to key destinations, like schools, parks and shopping areas.”
