Please join Create Dunwoody and the Dunwoody Village Merchant Alliance in the First Annual Dunwoody Village Holiday Celebration and Lantern Parade designed for all ages to embrace the season and bring together friends, family, and neighbors. This year’s celebration will be packed with live performances, interactive activities, and holiday cheer throughout the village to set every attendee in the spirit.
Decorate and participate in the Lantern Parade. The Lantern Parade lineup begins at 5:45 with the parade immediately following. Tree lighting will start at 6:15pm. Times are subject to change. Bring your own or purchase a kit to decorate!
$15 Lantern Kits - Includes Paper Lantern, Light, and Dowel. Please purchase in advance to decorate at home and bring to this event for a parade and awards for most creative designs. Lantern kits can be purchased at Functionize (5054 Nandina Ln, Dunwoody) and the Village Ace Hardware (1316 Dunwoody Village Pkwy, Dunwoody). Create Dunwoody will be selling paper lanterns at Light Up Dunwoody on Nov 17th at the Burger King lot. Awards (subject to change) for most creative and artistic include:
First Place - $200 Fresh Market and $100 Shine Hair Parlor
Second Place - $100 Premier Raquet Sports and $50 Village Burger
Third Place - $50 The Village Restaurants
Drop off a tree ornament at Barn between Nov 21-23.
