Overdose Deaths

The Dunwoody Police Department routinely responds to those who are experiencing a drug overdose. Fentanyl is responsible for many of these overdoses. In many cases, officers are able to administer the life-saving drug, Narcan, to revise the victim. Tragically, some victims do not make it.
