City of Dunwoody
Home MenuCode Enforcement
All property owners and occupants are responsible for maintaining their properties in accordance with certain standards. These standards are designed to protect the environment and maintain the appearance and property values within our city.
The Code Compliance Division is responsible for assuring that all existing residential and non-residential structures and all existing premises maintain minimum requirements and standards as set forth by the International Property Maintenance Code as adopted by the City Council.
Code violations can now be reported online to help citizens and the City of Dunwoody staff connect more quickly and efficiently. When a request is submitted, an automated email is sent to city personnel. The request will then be evaluated and can be turned into a Code Enforcement case, if necessary. The status of the request can be updated by city staff and viewed by the individual who submitted the request. Read more in the Summer Code Enforcement Guide or the Fall Code Enforcement Guide, or check out the Reporting a Code Violation page.
