Originally practiced as a martial art, Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that strengthens the joints, improves circulation and rejuvenates the mind.
Tai Chi Intro Course:
- An 8-week introductory course that teaches foundational exercises essential to any tai chi practice including posture, body alignment and balance.
- Class begins with warm-up stretches to improve range-of-motion and a "Tai Chi Flow" sequence that reinforces tai chi basics and fundamentals.
- Over the 8-week course, students will learn a short, compact form that can be practiced at home.
- Lessons are taught on a weekly curriculum.
- Students can attend 1 or 2x/week.
- Best to start within the first 2 weeks of a new session.

Classes meet under the Large Pavilion at Brook Run or on one of the fields next to it.
