Join Master Beekeeper Cindy Hodges for an up close look at the beehives of DNC!

What is a hive inspection? Inspecting a bee hive involves opening up the box and carefully removing sections to look at the health and activity of the bees within. Routine hive inspections are necessary for maintaining a healthy and productive beehive. Expert beekeeper Cindy Hodges will take us on an up-close and personal look inside the beehives of the Dunwoody Nature Center. She will teach the important things to look for in a hive and what you can do to make sure that your hive is thriving!

Whether you are a beginner beekeeper, a long time expert, or just a curious onlooker, you will enjoy this informative and exciting experience! Ages 13 and up welcome.
