Equalizer Health Class (Performance RX: Back and Hip Essentials)

Work through a core and hip strengthening program with Dr. Holzwarth while gaining a better understanding about how our spines work, how to prevent pain or injury and how to take control of your health and wellness for maximal longevity!

 Equalizer Health Bullet-proofing series: Low back/core

  • 5-10 minutes of education:

o   Relevant anatomy

o   Understanding the kinetic chain and force production for improved lifting/performance

o   Primary movement patterns/stabilization strategies we will go through and why they are important to general health, wellness and performance

  • 20-30 minute workout progression:

o   Abdominal brace patterning/stabilization and force production

o   Hip strength and mobility movements

o   Putting in all together into multi-joint movements such as hip hinge, squats, overhead press, deadlift etc.

  • Cool down and possible patient examination demo

o   Cool down mobility work

o   Education on recovery strategies/importance

o   I can do a quick low back evaluation of one person to discuss common findings
