Moved to City Hall - Memorial Day Ceremony

mem day meme movedDue to rain in the forecast, Dunwoody Parks and Recreation will move its annual Memorial Day Ceremony to Dunwoody City Hall, 4800 Ashford Dunwoody Road. It starts at 10 a.m. on May 27. The ceremony is open to ALL and co-hosted by Dunwoody’s Veteran Events Planning Committee.  

During the ceremony, Catherine Lautenbacher, will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Dunwoody Police Chief Michael Carlson, Georgia National Guard Captain (R), will serve as guest speaker. The Invocation and Benediction will be presented by Reverend Kathy Brockman of Dunwoody United Methodist Church. In addition, Dunwoody Idol contestant Grace Jacob will return to sing the National Anthem.
