Hammond Drive Corridor Improvements
Hammond Drive Multimodal Study
Dunwoody has partnered with the City of Sandy Springs and Perimeter Community Improvement Districts (PCIDs) to develop a vision for future transportation and streetscape improvements along the Hammond Drive Corridor between Glenridge Drive and Ashford Dunwoody Road. This project is an update of PCIDs’ 2007 concept for Hammond Drive to reflect current and projected future land uses along the corridor. Recommendations are being developed to address projected future traffic volume on the corridor and to better accommodate bicycles and pedestrians. Aesthetic treatments such as landscaping and street furniture are also being incorporated into the plan.
