Offices to be filled in the 2018 elections
The City Council posts to be voted on are Post 1, currently held by Pam Tallmadge, Post 2, currently held by Jim Riticher, and Post 3, currently held by Doug Thompson.
The DeKalb County Election Board approved an advanced voting location for the 2017 General Municipal and Special Elections at the Dunwoody Library (5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Road). The specific dates/times are as follows:
- Saturday, October 28 9am – 4pm
- Monday, October 30 – Friday, November 3 8am – 5pm

Campaign Disclosures and Financial Information
All elected officials and candidates for office are required to file Campaign Contribution Disclosure Reports or an Affidavit and Financial Disclosure Reports. A Notice of Intent to Accept Campaign Contributions form must be filed by a candidate prior to accepting any campaign contributions.
City Clerk, Sharon Lowery, serves as the Chief Elections Officer for Dunwoody. As Chief Elections Officer, she prepares and has published all election ads, approves the ballot proof, approves the city’s official voter list, accepts notice of candidacy for local office, and prepares for municipal elections in coordination with DeKalb County Elections Divisions. The City of Dunwoody has signed an Intergovernmental Agreement with DeKalb County to provide for the DeKalb County Board of Elections
