Sign up with Interactive Defense to have a Dunwoody Police Officer check on your residential property while you are away.
The City of Dunwoody has partnered with Interactive Defense to provide residential property checks. If you will be traveling or away from your home for an extended period of time, sign up and request that the Dunwoody Police Department check on your residential property. You will receive an e-mail or text message each time your home is checked.
The Interactive Defense program also provides residents an online tool called My Property Lock Box, which helps organize and store identifying information about property. The stored information could be used if that property is ever stolen.
If you have questions about the Interactive Defense Program, please contact Community Outreach at 678-382-6917 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Testimonial on Interactive Defense Program
I wanted to let you know how impressed my wife and I are with this service provided by the Dunwoody Police; we’ve used it several times and have been thoroughly pleased; the police come by almost every day and we really like reading the officer’s email notes of what they did and found. One time, they even noted that they picked up a copy of the Dunwoody Crier from the driveway and placed it on the front porch so it would not sit in the driveway while we were away.
Please express our appreciation to the officers for this valuable service.
