Use Determination: 350 Perimeter Center North (Parcel ID 18 350 01 169) Request to allow a "pet (dog) daycare" as an accesory use to The London apartment complex.
Decision: Approved with conditions - January 17, 2017
AP 17-012: 1516 Withmere Close. Administrative permit per Section 27-269 to reduce retaining wall setback. The tax parcel number is 18 375 05 046.
Decision: Approved with conditions - January 18, 2017
AP 17-021: 1821 Berkshire Pass. Administrative permit per Sec. 27-436(4) to encorach front and rear building setback lines. The tax parcel number is 18 352 02 104.
AP 17-04: Jeremy and Marci Silverman, owners of 2635 Poplar Lake Trail, Dunwoody, GA 30360, request a Special Administrative Permit per Chapter 27, Sec. 27-436(5) to reduce the rear yard setback by greater than ten percent, but no more than ten feet, for building additions not exceeding one story or 18 feet in height. The tax parcel number is 06 308 06 025. The decision date is March 29, 2017.

January 23, 2017 City Council Meeting
SLUP 17-011: Rhett Roberson, owner of 2347 Brookhurst Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338, seeks a Special Land Use Permit from Chapter 27, Section 27-168(g)(1) to allow for a Type B Home Occupation for a physical therapy business. The tax parcel number is 18 354 03 005.
Decision: Council voted to deny the request (6-0).
February 2, 2017 Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting
ZBA 17-021: Charles Button, on behalf of Jesus J. Galeano and Schirli Villegas, owners of 4979 N Peachtree Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338, seeks a variance from Chapter 16, Section 16-78, to encroach the City’s 75-foot stream buffer for disturbance related to construction of a deck. The tax parcel number is 18 359 040 43.
Decision: The Board voted to approve the request with conditions (4-0).
February 13, 2017 City Council Meeting
Text Amendment: Chapter 27, Section 27-97, DVO, Dunwoody Village Overlay
Decision: City Council voted to approve the ammendment with conditions (7-0).
March 13, 2017 City Council Meeting
SLUP 17-021: Lang Real Estate Services, LLC, c/o Jacob Lang, on behalf of DAVECHEV, INC, owner of 5465 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338, seeks the following Special Land Use Permits from Chapter 27: a.) Section 27-97(g)(1) to exceed the maximum allowed parking in the Dunwoody Village Overlay District; b.) Section 27-97(i)(3) to reduce the pedestrian zone along the abutting sides and rear of the building; and c.) Section 27-97(k)(1)(a) to reduce the pedestrian “build to zone” requirement. The tax parcel number is 18 366 07 008.
Decision: City Council voted to approve the request with conditions (4-2).
March 14, 2017 Planning Commission Meeting
Text Amendment: 1. Design Review Advisory Committee plan review (Section 27-97(d)); 2. residential infill (Section 27-147); 3. prohibited variances (Section 27-392); and 4. home occupations (Section 27-168)
Decision: The commission recommended approval of amendments 1, 2, 3 (6-0) and 4 (4-2).
