The Dunwoody Police Department has arrested Ann Marie Smith, age 44, Sebastien Wolters, age 37, and Kenneth Shields, age 27, for 15 counts of Burglary(F), VGCSA Intent to distribute Marijuana(F), VGCSA Trafficking Heroin(F) and VGCSA Trafficking Methamphetamine(F).
Beginning in December 2013 until February 2014, the Dunwoody Police Department responded to several burglaries of storage units at the London Apartments located at 350 Perimeter Center North. Through investigations, the previous named subjects were identified as suspects. A search warrant was conducted of their shared residence; narcotics and evidence that lead to two separate storage facility locations which contained the stolen property were discovered. Ms. Smith and Mr. Walters were arrested on February 21st by Dunwoody Police and Mr. Shields was arrested by Cobb County Police on March 1st for the Dunwoody warrants and additional charges from Cobb County.
Lead Detective William Yeargin along with the entire detective division spent countless hours investigating and processing this case which led to arrest of individuals involved in a significant drug distribution operation and numerous burglaries that had plagued a neighborhood. Their efforts have removed a major criminal element and made the City of Dunwoody a safer community as a result.
We are currently investigating to determine if these individuals have committed any other burglaries or thefts inside the City of Dunwoody.
