Government 101
The Dunwoody Government 101 series is a nine week course, held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning July 2 through August 27, designed to enhance residents’ understanding of city government and offers the community a chance to experience an d discover the primary undertakings of the City.
Dunwoody’s Government 101 series will provide participants with a look inside each of the City’s departments through a lively blend of demonstrations, presentations, and tours, all conducted in a casual format at numerous sites throughout the City. Participants can expect to come away with a heightened awareness and knowledge of local government operations as well as a greater understanding of how to get involved in local civic and community affairs.
The 2013 Government 101 Class is Full.
All additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list. All individuals on the waiting list will
have first right of refusal for placement into the next Government 101
session in 2014.
Should a spot become available in the 2013 class, that spot will be filled based on the order in which applications were received.

Interested participants should complete the Dunwoody Government 101 application. Completed forms may be sent to Edie Damann at edie.damann@dunwoodyga.gov, dropped-off, or faxed to 678-382-6701. Class size is limited. Deadline for application submission is June 4, 2013.
